    Game crashes taking whole computer down with it

    jpansing posted a topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
    The game starts and loads to the main menu. If I select Continue, the game tries to load then lockes the whole computer requiring a power reset. If I select load and try to load a previous save game, same result. If I select New Game, same result. When the computer restarts I Verified the Integrity of Game Files and it reports that +53K files are corrupt and need to be downloaded. It redownloads the 17GB of data then repeats. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04, updated. Anyone else see this problem or have a solution? I have 28 hours into the game, so it did work. Not sure what changed in the past week or so..
