[Net side shift?]

Actually it means if you chose both DS and LS replies in a conversation, and you chose more DS than LS replies or vice versa, you triggered a net DS shift or a net LS shift.

 

For example, I only chose 1 DS reply compared to 3 LS responses, I triggered a net LS shift.

How do I get a sponsor for the pilot?

You'll have to wait till you destroyed G0t0's yacht, then you can talk to Fassa in the dock and ask him to hire the guy as a pilot.

 

How do I "deal with the guards" so the woman can escape to her husband.

You'll have to talk to the exchange boss in the refuge sector and kill them all.

 

Can I fix the swoop robot without getting dark points?

This one i don't know...somebody answer this

I haven't tried this on the PC yet, but a few sites have this cheat listed for the Xbox version:

 

Throttle your swoop up to a decent speed, then forfeit right before hitting an obstacle. If you hit the obstacle right after forfeiting, you get whatever time you had when you forfeited.

 

IIRC, that worked for KotOR1 for the PC as well.

I LOVE kotor1&2 but I also HATE the swoopraces.

 

Is there a cheat to pass them?

Normally I don't touch cheats or walkthroughs but I'd really like to just get the swoop over with.
