Chest content in Pillars of Eternity: Characters Builds, Strategies & the Unity Engine (Spoiler Warning!) Posted April 3, 2015 Yesterday, when I went to pickup the Arbalest and the Fine Pistol in the Anslögs Compass cave, I found a War Bow in it the chest instead. The Fine Pistol was there, but even after 20 reloads, the chest would always produce a War Bow. So I was wondering if chest content is generated like in Wizardry 8, ie. - on entering the map for the first time - level dependent Or maybe it's something else, like choice of companions ?

Yesterday, when I went to pickup the Arbalest and the Fine Pistol in the Anslögs Compass cave, I found a War Bow in it the chest instead.
The Fine Pistol was there, but even after 20 reloads, the chest would always produce a War Bow.
So I was wondering if chest content is generated like in Wizardry 8, ie.

- level dependent
Or maybe it's something else, like choice of companions ?
