Is there anyway to get another basic lens other than the one in the Hutts storage room? See because I can't get it now that I took the quest of the man who wants a female dancer.

I have a cut scene glitch on my disc. Everytime I go to a conversation, most of the time, the dialogue gets skipped and I can't read anything. I can't change it from the menu, so do I return it?
