Infestation of Maggots not clearing

It took two sleeps and a lvlup, but it cleared. There is something weird going on, but it is not as bad as I thought at first. -
I used Suppress affliction on the Infestation of maggots, and now the infestation will not go away. I have even tried sleeping.
