Solutions

  1. Ash_ZA's post in Random chrashing - Possible workaround was marked as the answer   
    Similar programs would be Riva tuner or MSI afterburner but can't confirm if they cause any issues. I am running version 16 (non steam).
     
    Haven't had a random crash since closing it and the game looks great.
