I honestly think this is also the problems with forums. Young no lifes, hoping to meet some woman or "man" by chatting, who takes a loyal conversation of questions, to take their chances to say slick comments. My main goal was to get information on a title that is new to my experience, and just wanted some honestly and positive feedback of what to expect. HOPFROG16; thanks for posting with that objective in mind. P.S. OBSIDIAN be careful on these individuals because truthfully, just by their foolishness, this may be enough to turn people away from your future work. But I will take HOPFROG16 advice and give it a shot. Hopefully in two weeks you will see my reply of how great this game may have been, or if its not, i will still give a positive reply of what to look out for for your next title. My favorite of course is FFVII and FFIX. Loved those games. Made me feel like I was in an odyssey experience. I want to know a game of which I am reminded of my youth of when I use to play games and feel like nothing else mattered and having no worries. You guys may not understand, but with the stress of life, you need some type of escape.

If my information is incorrect someone please correct me, but I've been following this game since before the official Dungeon Siege site was up... So I will try to answer your questions the best that I know. =) 1. Yes the equipment does change the way you look, but the changes are based on tiers of items. Leather armor is going to look exactly the same as leather armor of jinkiness (or whatever prefixes/suffixes the equipment might have), but leather armor will look very different from full plate. 2. I would really compare this game to BG:DA or CoN. I thought some of the games elements reminded me of Dragon Age 2, also. 3. To be honest it really is too early to tell, since the demo didn't really show this. From what I've gathered from interviews, though, the choices you make won't have as much of an impact in the game's ending as, say, Fall Out: New Vegas or Dragon Age, but the choices you make will have consequences. 4. They add some procs and stats... I have a feeling though that you will replace them later on in the game sooner or later. If they are better than anything you can get in the game, the rings/amulets in the demo that I got off the vendor wasn't much worse (you can see the exact stats of the items in the English section of the website, not the American). 5. There is a co-op mode. Many people will tell their views on it... Personally I feel that it is a great mode if you plan on playing with certain people (like friends or family) long term with a predetermined playtime schedule. If you plan on playing a persistent character whenever you want like on Diablo 2 or even the first 2 Dungeon Siege games with total strangers, you won't be able to do that with this game. 6. Fantasy: Yes. Beautiful Scenery: Play the demo and judge for yourself. I think it looks nice, though. Music: It's good. Not as good as the first couple games, but personally I feel Jeremy Soule is an exceptional music writer. Weapon Enchantment: As far as I know this is not in the game. Weapon/Armor Vendors: Yes. Treasure: Yes. Bosses: Yes. The boss fights in the demo are quite fun I think. =) 7. This is an old school style ARPG, so if you like BG:DA or CoN you would like this game I think. In any case, though, you should really try the demo first, since all these are just my opinions for the most part. Hope that helps some. =) Thanks alot man. Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. A personal opinion from someone who knows Oblivion closer then anything else. I would hold on to your words. You actually inspired me to keep my purchase. I was thinking of getting my refund today. I give every RPG a chance, if I can, but I been so disappointed over the time I had my XBOX 360. I tried every single RPG to name I believe and only 5 caught my attention. The best RPG's is played for the system is Magna Carta 2, Star Ocean, Dragon Age 2, Divinity 2, and believe it or not, Final Fantasy XIV. Other I played, like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, Record of Agarest War and other titles, but I got bored. So I am looking forward to a highpowered RPG.

Let me get this straight, because the failed at life gamestop store manager (or possibly 15 year old first job kid) told you that it was the hottest rpg coming out you instantly handed over $60? Since you are so easily sold, I'm going to just answer yes to all your remaining questions. Well for the years that I have been at this local game stop, this is the only guy that proved to me to be the most knowledgeable. But thats just like going to Gamespot.com and seeing what they grade games and deciding should you agree. I never heard of the title before, so how could I just go by the look of a game. I needed to know the history of the successes and failures of this group of oblivion.

By naming those titles, I meant them as for gameplay. Since it will be a solo campaign, I wanted to know how would it be. Such as a hack and slash (Ninety Nine Nights), or a domain of upgrading skills to become even more powerful (Castlevania).

I am a hard core RPG player! That should give you a description of who I am with just that title. I never heard of the title Dungeon Siege until I went to my local gamestop and was informed that this is the new hot rpg coming out. So I pre-ordered it. Just this Friday, June 1st, 2011, I made the full payment for the game. Nearly $60.00 US dollars. But I am looking forward to this title. I have just read forums and it sounds as if players are disgusted about the title. I normally don't go by players advice, because some of them are basically relating everything by WOW standards, so I have a couple of questions to confirm my purchase: 1. Every true RPG have a customizable character, I understand that every avatar is set already as to looks and design. But for the up to date changing of the character, ex: weapons and armor; do they show the change equipment when changing the avatar through the game? 2. What can I expect from this RPG. Such as gameplay. Can you compare to any other XBOX360 titles? ex: Dragon Age, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, or Ninety Nine Nights. 3. Will there be a quest based traditional RPG setting. Such as doing quest to complete the game, or will it be new age, such as doing quest and then having choices to make during those quest which changes the endings? 4. I pre-ordered the game, I hear about these talismans I should receive, are they that much of a big deal? 5. Will there be a co-op mode? 6. Will this game meet my interest based on what I enjoy which is all out fantasy, with beautiful scenery, music, weapons that can be upgraded (enchanted), towns and villages of where you can buy your new equipment and armor, treasures to be found, and massive bosses to defeat? 7. Last but not least, I just really want an enjoyable game, fun and entertaining. Do you think I will be impressed or will I have to just get use to it like some of these new rpg's coming out now.
