I totally get your frustration! That mechanic where you have to hold down a button for stacking deposits can definitely get old, especially when you're trying to sort through a lot of stuff. It's even worse when the game lags or freezes for a second with each deposit it just adds unnecessary annoyance. I agree that a simpler approach, like in Grounded, where you press one button for a single item and another for the whole stack, would be a nice quality-of-life fix. It’s such a small tweak but would make a huge difference in the flow of managing inventory, especially in games like this where you spend a lot of time doing exactly that. It’s cool that you’re still enjoying the game despite this though! Hopefully, the devs take note of the feedback and refine that system in future updates. If nothing else, it sounds like you’re making progress and having fun!
