  1. I've been having crashes playing The Outer Worlds 2 via the Xbox PC App on Windows 11, I figured out how to analyze the minidumps and it helped me track down that the crash was happening consistently when loading saves or I think when loading a new area via a loading screen but I haven't been able to test that because I'm still at the start of the game, this lead me to enabling full dump recording for Outer Worlds 2 via the registry and upon running the full dump through WinDbg and using !symfix; .reload and !analyze -v it gives me the following output ******************************************************************************* * * * Exception Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* KEY_VALUES_STRING: 1 Key : Analysis.CPU.mSec Value: 1046 Key : Analysis.Elapsed.mSec Value: 2705 Key : Analysis.IO.Other.Mb Value: 0 Key : Analysis.IO.Read.Mb Value: 1 Key : Analysis.IO.Write.Mb Value: 16 Key : Analysis.Init.CPU.mSec Value: 1546 Key : Analysis.Init.Elapsed.mSec Value: 124616 Key : Analysis.Memory.CommitPeak.Mb Value: 248 Key : Analysis.Version.DbgEng Value: 10.0.29457.1000 Key : Analysis.Version.Description Value: 10.2506.23.01 amd64fre Key : Analysis.Version.Ext Value: 1.2506.23.1 Key : Failure.Bucket Value: APPLICATION_FAULT_8000_TheOuterWorlds2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe!Unknown Key : Failure.Exception.Code Value: 0x8000 Key : Failure.Exception.IP.Address Value: 0x7ffb476e804a Key : Failure.Exception.IP.Module Value: KERNELBASE Key : Failure.Exception.IP.Offset Value: 0xc804a Key : Failure.Hash Value: {827c7445-1d18-8b82-80cd-6522203eb5fc} Key : Failure.ProblemClass.Primary Value: APPLICATION_FAULT Key : Timeline.OS.Boot.DeltaSec Value: 8285 Key : Timeline.Process.Start.DeltaSec Value: 640 Key : WER.OS.Branch Value: ge_release Key : WER.OS.Version Value: 10.0.26100.1 Key : WER.Process.Version Value: 5.4.4.0 FILE_IN_CAB: TheOuterWorlds2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe.25232.dmp NTGLOBALFLAG: 0 APPLICATION_VERIFIER_FLAGS: 0 CONTEXT: (.ecxr) rax=000000e4e9b7f5c0 rbx=000000e4e9b7f6a8 rcx=000000e4e9b7f470 rdx=00007ff7f621efd8 rsi=0000000000000000 rdi=0000000000008000 rip=00007ffb476e804a rsp=000000e4e9b7f4d0 rbp=0000000000000001 r8=0075004200790070 r9=0072006500660066 r10=0069006700650052 r11=002c007d006e006f r12=0000000000000000 r13=0000000000000000 r14=0000000000000000 r15=00000202c872e5c0 iopl=0 nv up ei pl nz na pe nc cs=0033 ss=002b ds=002b es=002b fs=0053 gs=002b efl=00000202 KERNELBASE!RaiseException+0x8a: 00007ffb`476e804a 0f1f440000 nop dword ptr [rax+rax] Resetting default scope EXCEPTION_RECORD: (.exr -1) ExceptionAddress: 00007ffb476e804a (KERNELBASE!RaiseException+0x000000000000008a) ExceptionCode: 00008000 ExceptionFlags: 00000080 NumberParameters: 1 Parameter[0]: 000000e4e9b7f5f0 PROCESS_NAME: TheOuterWorlds2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0x8000 - <Unable to get error code text> EXCEPTION_CODE_STR: 8000 EXCEPTION_PARAMETER1: 000000e4e9b7f5f0 STACK_TEXT: 000000e4`e9b7f4d0 00007ff7`f2404d63 : 00000000`00000000 00007ff7`f2f6d188 00007ff7`f6394fc0 00007ff7`ef57f561 : KERNELBASE!RaiseException+0x8a 000000e4`e9b7f5d0 00007ff7`f2f6d188 : 00000000`00000000 000000e4`e9b7f5f0 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!agsCheckDriverVersion+0xceb353 000000e4`e9b7f6a0 00007ff7`f2f6d6f7 : 00000202`c8bf6660 00000202`c8bf6660 00000000`887a0005 00007ff7`f639eeb8 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!src_strerror+0x3a0b04 000000e4`e9b7f7f0 00007ff7`f1d05400 : ffffffff`ffffffff 00000000`00049a11 00000000`00049a10 00000202`bed8ae80 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!src_strerror+0x3a1073 000000e4`e9b7fad0 00007ff7`ef075c9f : 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000202`c2083d40 00000000`00000000 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!agsCheckDriverVersion+0x5eb9f0 000000e4`e9b7fbf0 00007ff7`ef075bab : 00000202`bf22f850 00000000`00000000 00000202`bc74a818 00000202`bf247000 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!ffxPrintMessage+0x35680f 000000e4`e9b7fc40 00007ff7`ef576c63 : ffffffff`00000000 00000000`00000001 0000ebf8`ca1797d8 00000000`00000011 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!ffxPrintMessage+0x35671b 000000e4`e9b7fc70 00007ff7`ef576b1a : 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000202`bf247000 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!IAntiLag2Module::operator=+0x4c5223 000000e4`e9b7fca0 00007ffb`4839e8d7 : 00000202`bf247000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 : TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping!IAntiLag2Module::operator=+0x4c50da 000000e4`e9b7fd00 00007ffb`49f2c53c : 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 000004f0`fffffb30 000004d0`fffffb30 : kernel32!BaseThreadInitThunk+0x17 000000e4`e9b7fd30 00000000`00000000 : 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 : ntdll!RtlUserThreadStart+0x2c SYMBOL_NAME: TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping+46b4d63 MODULE_NAME: TheOuterWorlds2_WinGDK_Shipping IMAGE_NAME: TheOuterWorlds2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe STACK_COMMAND: dt ntdll!LdrpLastDllInitializer BaseDllName ; I need to do some more testing but it seems to be fixed so far. hopefully this is helpful for other people and the devs. Oh btw bit more info: Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Nvidia GTX 1070 running driver version 581.80 Let me know if there's anymore info needed or if you want me to upload any files.
