Gave it another shot after yesterday's 1.0.5.0 patch, but still no dice. Intercom still remains unresponsive, elevator still can't be activated. Tried with saves before and after picking up the rift modulator.

Same issue here, explored the rooms before picking up the modulator and disabled the security terminal (left room). Also hopped up to the balcony. I don't know which of these actions broke the game, but exactly the same problem as the others described here, and posted by user Chny in another thread. I do have a save before picking up the modulator, so I can still leave the room and do other stuff - but still eventually a softlock here unless it gets fixed. And my previous backup save before that is like 10h ago ... (Playing in PC, but looks like platform doesn't matter)
