This happened to me after killing a certain NPC on Praetor. When did it happen to you?

The math is a just bit off, but you are right that the perk is giving too much additional range. Since I enjoy having extra range on all my guns I suggest that they alter the tooltip to say +125% weapon range. 32.5 * 1.5 = 48.75 for the 50% increase. 32.5 * 2.25 = 73.125 which is a 125% increase.

After killing an important NPC on Praetor When I went back to my ship the screen faded to black and then all dialogue with all npcs reset as if I never talked to them at all. Companions, the bartender in Fairwind, etc. This seems like a gamebreaking bug.
