So the real question is what effect does violence in the media and video games have on the human psyche?

 

None?

Affirmative? (Meaning we tend to follow what we see)

Negative? (Meaning we shy away from the real actions because of what we see)

 

Interestingly enough public executions worked well in diminishing the amount of violent crimes committed.

 

Violence in media....Depends on how it is betrayed but so far has been shown to have a more affirmative reaction on society.

I recieved my M.S. in a completely different field (Finance). Some financial companies require at least a Masters but it doesn't matter it what.

 

I tell you this only because there are quite a few succeesful engineering majors in the finance field who never thought they would be here. Take it for what it's worth.

Lucasarts marketing reading the boards? I'm not sure about that. I mean if I was in lucasarts marketing department I would be way too busy trying to sneak a peak at all the projects going on. I'd never have time for the boards.
