  1. I was stocked when Grounded 2 was announced and videos showed dual wielding in the game. It was something I really wanted in Grounded 1. While I am enjoying dual wielding so far I do find it to be lacking. My main issue is the rigidity of it and Dual Wield being an item type instead of an option for one handed weapons. I understand why the decision was made to have it this way. When you allow all one handed weapons to be dual wielded you need to have animation and attack patterns for all combinations of weapon types, and when all dual wield weapons are a single item type you can apply a single type of heavy attack to it like it is currently and then design gear around it. This is another complaint all together as it seems most of all of the rogue gear revolves around the dash at least up until tier 3 wolf armor. While those make sense from a design point, from a fun point I enjoy mixing and matching weapons to provide different benefits or to match a certain style. For example if you had a dagger that provided venom and then a dagger that provided a slow you could use both to create a style of applying the debuffs and kiting your targets around, or you could go with something like a one-handed mace/hammer for stun and then a fast dagger for crits on the stunned target. Even then you could just go with 2 one handed maces/hammers for that wild and fast barbaric crusher feel. You also get the benefit of being able to swap between dual wielding and shields or a light source while still using your main weapons and styles that you have been focusing on. You could also involve tools and single use items in the off hand. Things like bratbursts, healbasas, and glowsticks. I know implementing this would screw up the current dash heavy attack for the dual wield weapons, but an answer to this could be to use the heavy attack of the strong hand/main hand weapon. The dash can be moved to daggers and fist weapons could get their own heavy attack. You could also change some of the rogue gear buffs to be for the heavy attack of any weapon marked as a rogue weapon while keeping some as the dash.
