    I remember they had it on the issue tracker and then it got taken down, so I assumed they were gonna fix it along side the bee spawning outside the top map barrier but ya I guess they just kinda ignoring the spawn issues that's causing a soft lock for a lot of us

    I had made a support request and didn't even get any reply back about this. Still hasn't been fixed with this update and would like to progress this quest as I don't like having unfinished quests

    same thing happening to me with the bow mutations. Killed 10 different insects and didn't get any progress at all
