I can't connect my Microsoft account to steam. I initially got the game on game pass and then decided I wanted to own it in my steam library because steams system is so much better and updates and what not would be quicker.
It says I'm not connect to my Microsoft account and when I try it says welcome back and then when I click on multiplayer again it repeats the same message. 'You need to be signed into the account'.
I have tried all I can think of. Signing out of game pass, running steam as admin, etc but the only thing I can think of is the shared world we play on was created by me on game pass and it's somehow tied to that.
I won't delete the save incase I lose the world for my friends but I am just wondering wether this could be the issue otherwise I am at a loss with what it could be.
Any advice from anyone would be appreciated and if not at least I've put it here so obsidian knows the problem.
Keybinds not saving and the music being so loud at start up until you hit any key to continue to the main menu, are two other really stupid issues that seem like such rookie oversights too.
