I am severely dissapointed

I just got grounded as a gift from a friend but there is a problem where whenever i go past character selection and name the yard a few seconds into loading my game crashes with no error almost like its force closing itself if anyone has a solution to this problem i would greatly appreciate help

Guys i have managed to fix the black screen but the crashing still persist i would greatly appreciate any help on this topic unless its a bug from the game devs

Im having an issue where whenever i start grounded it just stays on a black screen, most of the time i might be able to get into the main menu but even after that i still cant play the game because whenever o try to start or join ANY type of server multiplayer or not after the character selection a few seconds into loading my game would stop close and boot me to my desktop for no apparent reason. I've tried most solutions and none of them helped me so far im really hoping that i can get this fixed because this was a gift from a friend and we both love this game.

Been having similar problems where whenever i try to join a friends game or host a multiplayer or single player world after pressing start game or my friend starts the game before the cutscene can play it closes the game and kicks me to desktop if anyone can tell me how to resolve this issue i would be so grateful

Has a solution been found yet? Currently having same problems as the original person and cant find a fix to the problem and everything else I've tried has failed
