Well I answered my own question after a bit of research. Appears in this game there is no going on after beating the main story. I had left a few quests open and had saved at the point of no return but this doesn't seem worth the effort of going back . This was disappointing after playing games like Borderland and Elden Ring style games. It was a fun short game though.

I am newcomer to Avowed and played through normal mode and got to the final battle with Lodwyn and the game goes to final cut scenes but when I select continue it just goes back to the initial Lodwyn battle. I have beaten her now 9 times and no change...the game will not end properly. First time I thought it happened because I selected to end the final cut scenes . Next 2 times I defeated her I let it run until got to the main page and selected continue - still back to the initial Lodwyn battle.
