I was missing something. The first god spell is an ability.. not so much a spell. Please disregard.

I guess I also should have asked, is there a fix for this or a setting that I'm missing?

I have downloaded the game onto both PC and Xbox and in both versions, there is no submenu allowing me to select, use, or assign spells. I am locked into the few options on the radial wheel. I have seen from gameplay videos that there is a submenu for spells, god spells, and abilities, but I only have submenus for grenades and consumables. Nor can I assign spells from the character menu.
