  1. Credit for Konstanten for discovering it. So you need an ability that triggers the least unstable coil repeatedly when empowered AND it must be extendable. But the empower points are limited and I didn't want to rest. So I figured i could use sashas scimitar with chanter's ice attack to hopefully trigger brilliant and then use the salvation of time that the priest has. That way I can trigger the belt in every fight with minimal setup. Robes of the weyc and wand of the weyc go nicely with this setup.

  2. I have been a massive fan of the pillar series. You could say its my special interest. I have played both games hundreds of time. In each case what made them so playable was that the game was a canvas and the brush were the classes. Druid, rogue, fighter, paladin, monk, ranger, barbarian, priest, cipher, chanter, wizard. There were unlimited ways to customise your experience. And deadfire took that and doubled it through multiclasses, but limited the world. I accepted that. But now this avowed has taken away all that for flashy graphics. I don't want to see the graphics, I want real skill complexity. I dont want to mindlessly button mash for the next 75 hours.
  3. Yes windmill slash. Its the holy grail of builds. Great for trash mobs, great for base and dlc bosses, and can even solo ALL the megabosses. Most builds are good for some but not all megabosses or they have great aoe damage at the expense of single target damage. It does not even require an extensive setup before taking on bosses.
  4. I beat dorudugan too. Max intellect. Ooblit. Power level. Chaincasted blade cascade with dual scordeos in vanishing strikes invisibility. The trick is to turn on penetrating strikes in cascade. It procced a lot after I did that.
  5. So I activated vanishing strike and I have to manually click on an enemy again and again to hit otherwise he just stands there. Even with auto attack on.
  6. The ones I had at hand. Jade tiger and knapped scoria did the trick.
  7. The high speed of streetfighter can be used to interrupt lock big bads with unlimited gambit, without vanishing strikes. And the damage of gambit is more than enough to take care of the minor enemies. Anyway it's all about breakpoints. If you get 50 more accuracy than an enemy deflection than you are good to go. You can achieve that in various ways AND you can make use of the streetfighter speed as needed. It's hard justifying an assassin because if you want to use gambit WITH vanishing strikes you can only vanish once without compromising gambit with low guile. Then you are visible and have to rely on gambit. And that's where the gambit streetfighter shines. He has SPEED and he can do GAMBIT endlessly. And gambit has 50% bonus pen because of crit. If an enemy cannot be interrupted or ccd. I use toxic strikes with its stacking DOT.
  8. I used a streetfighter's superspeed with gambits interrupt to stunlock hauani o whe to death. Then I used summons to separate the splits and was able to quickly burst down one by the time the other one crawled close. My accuracy was 50 points above hauani so I never grazed. I also beat belranga by using aldris blade and devil of Caroc and abraham Healing + dawnstar blessing on the small spiders. Then I toxic striked her continously with the use of an empower and eventually the DOT became very strong and killed her. Auranic was the easiest. I interrupted her to death, then chugged potions while destroying sigils. The total immunity of shark soup and slippery mind probably helped. My reflex was also very high so the chain lightning didn't hurt much. This was on a no rest run.
  9. If you squeeze behind those bystander guys in day time you can avoid the enemy and just take ranged potshots. I recommend getting in position than aggroing them with a long range weapon like a crossbow.

  10. Yes dragon scales or veil touched. Just don't use it then. Use other rogue abilities.
  11. Cause now you have to roll twice once against deflection and once against fortitude. Just beating the enemy deflection is not enough. Bad for bosses who have high fortitude compared to deflection. No more permastun.
