    Not sure if it will help anyone but reinstalling the game seems to of fixed the issue.

    I did end up finding a temp fix. You just need to try to sign in to the crossplay and even if fails your save will load normally.

    ps5 is out and some how this is still an issue😮‍💨 4 years later is a bit ridiculous at this point. before saving and quitting loading a save up the next day
