HA THANK YOU! the vista fix i thought was for crashes, but it works now, thank you all. also i didnt have any other games for pc, so i couldent use the file, but thank you guys soo much. i thought it was for crashes but i saw the dll their too when i decompresssed it. but i cant thank you enough, no i have ALOT of moddding adn kotor to play

yeah, you mean the "vista fix" on ktor.filefront right? iv read it doesent work with the new 1.0b update, but ill still give it a try, thanks, ill be able to install it in afew days, im away right now. should be back by wednesday. thanks again, i realize you must get alot of help requests from people like me

do you have a link where you can download the file directly? the first one was for carshing and my games fine with that, and the second one's a fix that i dont think works with the updated kotor-which i have, but thanks-ill tyr the second one anyway

hey iv just installed kotor 2 and have the dreaded problem that doesent let me play with sound. iv tryed looking for the updated file with no luck and iv even looked on this forum's "vista step by step" and the link appears to be outdated, could anyone help me find the file, or even send it to me. i also dont know how to go about installing in. kotor isent kotor without sound and im iching to hear the music in the game, halp please! thanks

hey i just re-installed kotor 2 again, but the like you have for the dll seems to be expired, please help, i cant find another file anywhere. does anyone have a line or even a file they can e-mail me? thanks

scrach that, i just turned off the auto run and used the games manual instalation program

ok, uh.. after unstalling and installing multipile times, with no sucess, (still missing the dll or whatever file, and cant find a working link) im now officaly screwed. im trying to install kotor 2 for the 5th time on a computor with vista. it has installed perfectly befor, but once i insert disk one, the auto play comes up and i hit "install or run program"......then nothing.. my computor makes afew humming noises, then stops. i tryed going to the start menue and clicking on kotor 2 to manualy install, but still nothing. one thought that has occored to me is that i still have it installed on another computor(wich isent working either) should i uninstall that one? or is there a limit to the number of times i can install it? please help. (also, when i turn the sound off on my other instalation, it runs slow. and i dont mean occasional lag slow, i mean like 2 very skippy frames per second slow(no joke) this also happened on another computor i installed it on, could this be an effecr of installin git too much?) ANY help would be much aperciated..
