    Ah you know what, I feel like a dunce. I was playing as an Spy, I thought it was like mass effect where you pick a class and a background, but the "recruit" is a seperate choosable background. I guess I have to play through again.

    Hi, I just finished my first playthrough and beat the game. So, I went to start a new game and found the veteran status was still greyed out... I replayed the endgame level again to see if that would trigger it, but it still would not unlock. Are there any known fixes to this? I'd hate to have to replay the whole game again. Thanks.
