special K worked for me, I had way more fps and game was smoother, but after some time, I got the memory leak 30 fps shipfights too, then I had to reload the save, as you said...
I googled a long period now again on steam forums. they said it has something to do with older savefiles? the memory leak. - everything aftert 5.0 version is fine, everything before makes errors/stutter? is that true?
I want to try to play the game again, but without those memory leak and stutter issues.
I wanted to go special K fix again, but it does not launch anymore via steam then, when you use the guide and the program. when you put the .dll in, the game crashes on launch.

so there is really still no fix for those memory leak and stutter issues? any tipps/guides?
I want to play again with special K. they said download new version via discord, but the new version is an .exe file, and the old special K version was just a zip with an .dll and another file, so I don't get it. how to install the new special K version?
anything other helpful for those memory leaks?
EDIT:
Tested it again with the special K exe. reduced from 12 cores to 6 cores, then to 3 cores. does not seem to make any difference in stutter/fps... I remember the results in the past were better. don't know why.
any ideas for that memory leak? I tested reducing some graphic settings, but nothing is really a big deal in enhancement.
just loading the save new is still the best way for this?
and still, are my save files corrupted? I got some from 2018, some from now. so I guess i just overwritten them? can this cause stutter? pple said so on steam.
