These are some quick things I think you could add to the into the wood update to add much needed depth to the game. The firs few suggestions seem fairly simple to add though I am not a dev, the last 1 or 2 are more wishfull thinking. Termite Eggs and Acid Grenades- found in the termite lair these eggs can be used to craft a potent acid grenade Gum Globs and Sticky effect- Refining gum in the yard in the grinder allows you to upgrade weapons with the new sticky mutation slowing enemies when struck. Throny Crown- A termite crown fit for a usurper king, this crown is crafted from the termite king head and splinters and would allow the player to deal a small ammount of damage when an enemy attacks them. An AOE attack for ladybugs the shield bug and non crusty roley poleys- this attack could reuse animations of a ground pound from the ladybugs with a poweful new sound effect and visible shockwaves. Why add this you might add? Thus could provide a knockback effect dislodging would be rock campers wanting to cheese insects with a bow. This attack would also differentiate the polies of the roly variety from one another as well as the lady bug and lady bird. The Sprigshot- A tier 1 slingshot capable of launching peblets or thistles. This is an easily craftable weapon that does not require arrows making it useful in a pinch however it is much less damaging than a bow or a crossbow. Higher tiers could launch crafted bombs functioning as a psudo grenade launcher, or lobber in this case. Last and least likely frequency transmitters- These little antennas would be scattered across the yard. Upon activating one with some kind of resource, hey i cant give you ALL the ideas, they lure in a specific bug for a wave based horde. Prep defenses and survive to earn bug parts and potentially more. These towers would be scattered around the map, potentially placeable, need and need to recharge after each use. This would provide more replayability and action to the game. What do you think? Noone will see this but still my ramblings have been exponged.
