whatchyamacallit

Got the game through gamepass on pc and while I can unlock the achievements in game they will not unlock in the xbox app. I read that changing my region, date format and language to English US would solve this but it hasn't worked for me. I have also deleted all my save and achievement files then reinstalled the game which also did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
