  1. So I know it sounds like a broken or ineffective item given the situation the characters are in, but I genuinely think it can be a good addition. The concept is that it's an item that can be used on the Player that will make it so most Bugs wont aggro on you. It's made to be a semi early game craftable to help players who struggle exploring without being spotted by dangerous enemies. Obviously there should be limits to this such as, it'll fend off ants that would attack on the overworld, but it'll have no effect if you enter there den or if you already have been aggro'd on already. Other enemies that it should have to effect at deterring them are Bosses, Wolf Spiders, The Koi Fish or any water bug, the Mutant fungal insects, and maybe any insect that lives in the haze (at least until you patch the gas canister) . But everything else is fair game to scare them away. Once sprayed on, it's effects should last for about 3-5 mins and there should maybe be a mutation that can make it last longer. Additionally, it's crafting recipe should probably be 1 Stinkbug Sack, 1 Bombardier Beetle Acid gland, and 1 mildy rare ingredient I can't think of at the moment. It should be an craftable that's between easy to get, but it takes a little time before you can make it. (plus has about 3-6 uses) So it's not something the Player can rely on constantly apposed to actually armor & mutation upgrades. I think it could be a fun useful addition to the overall game.
  2. Hello Grounded Devs, my suggestion is... Can we make the "Arachnophobia Mode" be more customizable? I mean what's already there is good, but I feel it kinda ruins some aspects of dealing with them. Reducing them to orbs is helpful, but it also makes fighting them a little more harder. Y'see, I like to play the game in 3red person, because I like being able to see from many angles at once. (good for spotting spiders from a distance) But when I reduce them to orbs, it makes finding them a little tougher. I like to use the legs at an indication on their movement patterns, but because they are orbs, I'm a little less accurate on my attacks. I tries the other settings, but they were still kinda scary. I suggest adding more options to the timid players to allow them to alter parts of the spider to their liking. Let's say someone don't the head on the spider, you can toggle that off and just have the body and legs. Or (what I prefer) Is fine with everything else, but the eyes, you can either edit the to look like stage 5 Arachnophobia Mode to where it's just the 2 pairs of eyes, while keeping the legs and fangs. I think giving players more options to tweak a spiders appearance would a huge improvement for Arachnophobia Mode.
  3. Don't get me wrong I like the concept of the Haze Biome and understand why there would be some fog; however, it's just kinda weird that despite wearing a mask with goggles, the fog is just as thick. For me personally, I have trouble seeing in the fog and often find myself exploded or attacked on, all because I couldn't see an enemy coming from diagonally in front of me. (Also an additional off-topic note, when I found the last Juice-Bow in the haze, I did not get the mutation. Idk if that's a bug or not...) Anyway my pitch is to allow the gas mask to reduce the thickness of the fog a bit to make things a little more clearer. Maybe even give an armor set that can do so? (Tho if there was an armor set, a good set bonus should be poison immunity of all kinds)
