    Crash before main menu

    Hello sorry for the inconvenence but a couple of days ago i got kotor2 and ive been trying to troubleshoot for the entire time my Comp stats are well above the requirement I have all green for kotors system check but when I start it up it loads to right before where the main menu should show up and then it the screen goes black and brings up that annoying problem have occured message, I tryed everything I coud think of to try and get it working but it just doesn't want to work, I really don't want to write this off as a waste of time and money. windows xp pro sp3 Intel Pentium D 3.40 GHZ 2 cpus 3070MB RAM Direct X 9.0c Nividia Geforce 8500 GT 1024mb Realtek HD audio output
