[KotOR II crashes as soon the game is started! Help, please.]

I just played KotOR I, and it played fine.. I don't understand why KotOR works, and KotOR II doesn't.

Well, the game crashes as soon as the first video starts. I tried everything, tried to download updates, to reinstall, everything.
