Hi,
I am having a problem whilst playing - the game itself runs perfectly well but when I attempt to load a previously saved game the loading progress bar reaches between one quarter and one third and then suddenly freezes. It stops in the same place each time, staying there for approximately 2 minutes and then the program crashes. I have tried loading multiple save games under different player profiles with no avail. The most perplexing thing is that I've completed the game twice before on this machine, uninstalled it over the xmas period and it's only now I've re-installed it that the problems arose.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helped things, I have also checked that the saved games themselves are uncorrupted as they are still readable by fan made software such as the KOTOR save game editor. I contacted (after reading this forum ) SecuROM and sent them an analysis file but they said it was completely unrelated. Lucasarts aren't handling tech support for this game in the UK, they've delegated it to Activision, who've only got an office hours number...
