I've seen this particular bug brought up since the game's release and I don't know if attempts to address it were made, but this is still a problem on the Xbox One (which is weird since Obsidian was bought by Microsoft). In any case, distortion of background music often occurs, especially in settlements. In addition, there's frequent cutting out of audio which is nearly constant. It happens during combat, dialogue, exploring, etc. I would assume this is due to loading high amounts of content, but from what I've seen this game shouldn't be so intensive (unless poorly optimized). I'm hoping this gets addressed or that at least this type of stuff doesn't pass QA and release in the future since I'd imagine it's a prevalent issue (at least on the Xbox and PS4).
