Ps4 Audio Bug

I have outer worlds on the ps4 and Im having a rather sever audio bug. I have a 7.1 system hooked up to my PS4 and normally it works fine but for this game any sounds that happen BEHIND my character come through very staticy. For example if a couple NPC's are having a conversation and I'm looking at them they sounds fine but I turn around and it sounds horrible.
