  1. Nope, I'm not much into mods, unless they restore deleted content that should actually be there. As it is, I don't know enough about windows to mess with them. But, my dad got a new computer, so I guess I have no choice but to start over anyways. Hopefully I won't run into the problem again Thanks.
  2. *woman, actually. And sheesh.
  3. Yeah, I went through the early consular stage. It stinks at the beginning, ha. It is hard, and there's really nothing you can do about it at first; personally, I don't think the party members are as strong in this game as in the first one, but I suggest depending on them a lot. Give them specific strong attacks to do in battles (instead of letting them 'choose' for themselves). When I played the game, battle meditation and revive were my best friends in early battles. Atton is useful because he gets back up when 'killed'. I used strong basic lightsaber attacks (consentrating either flurry or critical attack when leveling up feats). I consentrated on treat injury and charisma mostly, and wisdom when I could, though constitution is also very important, due to us poor consular's lack of natural vitality. Force push is a MUST as is as many buffering force powers as possible. The force power that allowed you to deflect blaster bolts with your hand was also useful. Atton is useful for skills in early stages(like demolitions and security). I used a lot of medpacks in the early stages, to save up force power for buffering powers and push. I don't know if you use heal more than this, but I suggest using medpacks until you get higher on force power. Utilize armor; especially Jaly Shey for the player character. Don't know if this is any help; it sounds kind of repetitive or obvious to me, ha, but, I felt like I had to put in my two cents.
  4. I'm a strict consular sorta person, ha; my game glitched before I could finish it, but I was far enough along in the game to have a strong consular/master character. I admit it was hard in the beginning, like on Peragus and Telos, before you got buffering force powers and such, but after you get high enough up in level, it is a FUN class. Buffer force powers like battle meditation are AWESOME, and you have so many force points you can use really strong attacks, like force push, for almost entire battles (the civil war on Onderon was awesome . You get so many force powers that eventually you run out of the cool ones, ha. I personally never concentrated much on wisdom (in either k1 or k2 as a consular) and instead was really high in treat injury and charisma. Charisma is also much more useful in out-of-battle situations. So I suggest consentrating more on charisma and less on wisdom. I did fine without much wisdom. Of course, constitution is also a must. As for feats, consentrate on getting master attacks(like critical strike or flurry, I find to be most useful with consular) and things such as dominate mind (or along those lines).
  5. Sorry I didn't get back to this; my internet has been sporatic. Thanks for the info; that might be the problem with with the save games, but i always thought the red eclipse triggered when you had enough noteriety. Well; I'll try it the next time I get to the computer I use to play it. If you get this message, thanks for the info
  6. Thanks for such a quick reply! This helps a lot.
  7. Hey, this is my first time posting. I'm getting REALLY frustrated at this point in KOTOR 2. Here's the thing: I'm on Nar Shaddaa, I've done everything else to gain enough noteriety. I get the cut scene that the slavers are on the Ebon Hawk. I run back there, kill the slavers, talk to Cahhmakt. Then, once everything is finished, I exit the ship. The cut scene that is suppose to trigger (where Visquis contacts you and tells you to come to the cantina) does not trigger. I have done this part of the game over and over, played more parts, gone to Korriban, beaten Korriban, come back, tried it again, AND IT STILL WON'T TRIGGER. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Is there any patch you suggest using? I don't know much about windows computers(but I'm a macintosh-guru), and I play this game on my dad's windows computer at his work on Saturday mornings, so I don't have much time to play, and it is really obnoxious when I can't get past a certain part or have no clue how to install patches, ha. The game currently deleted my saves, so I have to play it over again anyways. I don't know if I will encounter this glitch again, but I don't want to run into it again, if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks.
