    Getting this game to work

    Ok, so far i've spent 7 hours straight searching for answers. I need help. I use vista and a nvidia 7600 gt. I got the game to install ok. i won't update it cuz the cd protection tells me to put the cd in a different drive (I ONLY HAVE ONE!!!) It wouldn't start for a while but thanks to the Mss32.dll from the old game trick i got it to start. Now I have a new problem, textures. all the textures appear as red and black static, and the characters are blank. I've updated to the newest drivers for the graphics card, tried DxTweaker (which only came up with a black window that i couldnt use) and now I'm lost.
