So when it comes to ciphers, are their abilities innate - i.e., some people are just born ciphers - or can anyone become one through study and training? The wiki entry is vague, and it seems like there are conflicting opinions elsewhere on the internet with no official answers. Or maybe I just don't know where to look. If it's answered somewhere in the game, I evidently haven't gotten far enough yet.

So having never played PoE I, I was hoping to get some insight on how to build a Spellblade in PoE II. I have a lot of familiarity with the older Infinity Engine games, but since PoE doesn't use D&D's ruleset I admit I'm a little confused on some things, specifically stats. 'Might' is apparently the 'deal damage' stat for everybody, and when I create a Spellblade in CG the game gold-stars it as my primary stat, but browsing through builds I've noticed that a lot of DPS builds don't ever bother improving Might. If I'm just looking to create a fun melee character who has the ability to dish out some supplemental spell damage now and then, is Spellblade the way to go? If so, what kind of stats should I be aiming for? What kind of abilities?
