    Okay so...

    Nearly four years after the first mention of this bug I can find (august 2014), the freeze/hang in character creation/level up menus hasn't been fixed. I have tried everything, deinstalling my VPN, removing IPV6, even disabling all network adapters, nothing works. And I can read in several places that I'm not the only one for whom no workaround seems to work, even goddamn backers of PoE 1 can't get rid of this issue. And no sticky in this forum mentions a workaround for this. I had planned to replay PoE and its extensions which I hadn't played yet before buying PoE 2, now I'm not sure I want to buy it at all, however good it might be. Four years. Can anyone help us at long last or does Obsidian not give a flying f*ck ?
