Melee weapons can get up to lightsaber damage levels. Only thing you'd be missing would be the big stat boosts from the Character Crystal. Blaster Jedi's are good too, great damage and you shoot at range. With precise shot and since you have so much + Attack Bonii, nothing can deflect against your blasters anyway .
