I realize there are several other posts on this subject, and I've researched all the previous solutions that were offered. However, none of them have helped me. A lot of the symptoms they describe plague me as well. There are times (in the same spots, on the same planets,) that I play completely lag free (all-be-it, that is a rare occurance, and I usually crash soon after,) and then the rest of the time I have the most horrible frames per second lag or something similar in appearance. I have tried downloading all the latest drivers and hotfixes for amd fx dual core processors. I have also tried the frame buffer=1 fix. I've tried setting my graphics to a minimum, (ugly as that is,) and it still does the lag. My computer is by no means a low-end system. If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. Below is a list of my specs. GeForce FX 6800 GS video card AMD Athlon 64 FX Dual Core 3800+ cpu 1 gb of memory 2 cooling fans plus a liquid cooling system for the cpu Thanks for your time and help in advance.
