Don't worry. I figured it out eventually. I mis understood that the card set from discarded is meant to be return to my own hand. Once I got it the game now flows.

Hi, I'm a newbie just started the first scenario after the tutorial with the default characters provided of the cleric and elf going into the woods but got confused at this point in the game with my cleric at the moment in the Woods when the game is telling me to exchange cards and I don't know what to do next and believed the game is stuck and the user interface is not clear to me what I need to exchange.
