OK - so why can't I detect it when I go there in my game? I know where it's supposed to be, but it doesn't show in scouting mode as it should.

Scratch that, I found the ore

PS - and while we're at it, I also can't find the ore using the device in the "Sacred Instruments" task. The same save file I provided should show you the issue there.

Hi Sking, I am having this same problem and I can provide a save file for you to look at. My Durance has 11 Mechanics (I retrained him specifically after reading your comment), but I still can't detect the crystal.
