The level 1 mage spell Concelhaut's Parasitic Staff seems to be bugged since the update. Often when I use the spell now I see my character use the wand attack animation with the staff equipped, the damage is much lower than usual, and i see in the combat log that the attacks are proccing "Blast" (the mage wand talent).

Councelhaut's Parasitic Staff (lvl 1 mage spell) is supposed to be a melee weapon but now does reduced damage, fires a missile (ranged weapon, basically) and procs the "blast" talent that gives wands AoE damage. This is a bug, right?
