Yay, the re-install of PoE solved the problem. Case closed. Thank you Nicholas and Aarik for your assistance.

Aarik, thank you for the fast reply. Sadly the box is ticked. I tried unticking and re-ticking but nothing seemed to change in the game. Perhaps it has installed. How can I tell if I am playing White March and not just Pillars of Eternity? Regards Peter

I completed Pillars of Eternity and downloaded White March Part 1 from Steam. My Steam library says it is installed but when I run PoE the start up screen has two icons on the bottom right of the screen, one for PoE. The other says White March Part 1 NOT INSTALLED. I can still play PoE . How can I tell if White March is running as gameplay in PoE seems unchanged? I am running version 2.02.0749 - steam. Thank you.
