Does anyone know a solution? It's really putting me off playing. I dont want to have to look at a walkthrough just to see how to get around.

When I go downstairs past the ground level of the Sanitarium the whole level is covered in a fog from the chest down. I can see doors and my character and npcs and that's about it. I can probably figure it out and carry on with the game but it's ruining my immersion. I've tried reloading the save and the whole game both to no avail. Thanks for any help
