Is there anywhere in the game folder that you can find the text for all the npc backer stories? I can't find it with the other conversation files under local.

I want to use some of the conversation files (the text in them) in a dnd campaign that i'm hosting. Unfortunately I can't find a compilation of the text files online, and when I attempt to access the game files themselves, their extensions are .conversation files? They aren't recognized by my comp. or by Microsoft. I attempted to open them with other programs, but it just gives me coding for them. Is there any way to get these text files?
