Found the problem. If I remove the mod Descriptive Foods, the problem goes away. I don't know if it's that mod alone or whether there's a conflict with another mod.

I'm playing from Steam. After the latest patch I noticed that a number of settings have incorrect labels. For example, in Graphics, the label for the entry under Field of View is Invalid 2271 game/gui. There are about 10 like that. I'm assuming they're the changed or new features. Some I can determine by the location and value. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game with no joy. It's possible that it's a mod I'm using, but I don't have any mods that affect settings. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.
