  1. After not being able to find a solution, I asked AI, Microsoft Copilot. I described the problem much like I did above and got a very specific answer. It is a known issue. The solution is to get into the vent by being diagonal to it as you move rather than straight on. Here's exactly what it said and it worked: 1. Stand slightly to the left or right of the vent opening. 2. Crouch first (don’t rely on auto‑crouch). 3. While crouched, move diagonally into the vent—almost like you’re scraping along the wall. 4. Once your head clips under the lip, the game “grabs” you and pulls you into the crawlspace.
  2. There's a location where you must crawl through a vent to flip a power switch and then crawl back through the same vent because there's no other exit from the room with the power switch. To get into the vent, you climb onto a table and ope n the vent door. Then if you just move forward, you'll crouch and climb into the vent. Once you're through, you drop onto a ledge and flip the power switch. However, when you turn around, I can't get back through the vent. Simply moving towards it doesn't work. Neither does jumping or crouching or crouching and jumping. I've also tried moving to the back wall and running and jumping. I am stuck. I've tried a mod called Freecam and Teleport but it doesn't work for me. Any suggestions?
  3. Found the problem. If I remove the mod Descriptive Foods, the problem goes away. I don't know if it's that mod alone or whether there's a conflict with another mod.
  4. I'm playing from Steam. After the latest patch I noticed that a number of settings have incorrect labels. For example, in Graphics, the label for the entry under Field of View is Invalid 2271 game/gui. There are about 10 like that. I'm assuming they're the changed or new features. Some I can determine by the location and value. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game with no joy. It's possible that it's a mod I'm using, but I don't have any mods that affect settings. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.
