  1. Update: After rolling drivers back and opting into beta patches the game has become somewhat playable. I was able to play for about an hour and a half with the game 'only' crashing twice. The first time the game crashed to desktop and produced an error log below, the second time the game crashed to Blue Screen of Death. I have never had that happen to me on my Windows 7 machine, this isn't something I've seen since XP. How retro. Here's the text: Unity Player [version: Unity 4.6.1p2_961a19933c56] PillarsOfEternity.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module PillarsOfEternity.exe at 0023:01291ee0. Cant EDIT: Put in a spoiler tag to shorten the post. A lot of information in there. Thanks for sharing, Banksta.
  2. Description: The game crashes to desktop within 2 minutes of starting it, I cannot make it past character creation. I have bought the game full price on steam and have not been able to play the game at all. Every time I start the game this happens. I have attempted the fix regarding the UNCL font using the cmd function. This does nothing, there is no UNCL font. System Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, AMD Phenom II X2 550 Processor, 8.0GM RAM, NVIDEO GeForce GTX 570 The game provided some logs at first but no longer produces error logs. Below is the error log: output_log.txt If someone couple please help me I would really appreciate it, I was really looking forward to playing this game and finally scrounged up the dough and purchased it today. Thanks, Banksta
