[What class(s) are you planning making your first character and why?]

I'm not quite sure. I'm going to be importing a save from the first one, where my Watcher is a pale elf Cipher, but I'm interested in Rogue and Priest as well.

Not sure if I will keep her a pure Cipher, a Cipher/Rogue or Cipher/Priest, or completely ditch Cipher altogether for the other two...either way I will probably play them all at some point.

Pallegina's portrait is definitely not my favourite and it's kinda disappointing...I'll probably switch it to a different one.

God I'm so excited to play this game...I've been waiting over a year!!! So hyped!!!

I'm just really excited for this game man.

 

Pillars of Eternity was the first game of its kind I've ever played, but was so easy to get used to.

I'm by no means an expert on the game, and it's not even my most played game, but it's definitely my favourite game

 

I've never backed a game before and never really liked the thought of doing it,

but as soon as I found the Fig for this thing I jumped at the opportunity to support.

 

I don't know when this game is gonna be finished, but I cannot emphasize how excited I am.

Yeah, I am not. Main character is a Kind Wayfarer Paladin, I've got two fighters (being Edér and the one I've created shown), Durance, my wizard and a ranged cipher....not that any of that matters, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hi there everyone. So, I enjoy this game more than any other. But there's just one problem.

Pillars of Eternity is my first encounter with a game like this, and I have no idea what's going on.

 

I decided to make a campaign on hard, and made a fighter whose job is to do lots of damage.

I've come to the point where I have to pick a weapon specialization, but I have no idea what to chose.

I decided to do some searching to see what weapon (in terms of 2h at least) is the best for damage, and got very mixed results.

She's been using great swords so far and I've seen people saying these are great, but others say that estocs are better because of the dr bypass.

And then I saw that Maces are great because apparently you can find a pretty good one semiyearly in the game. I'm just very torn and very confused.

 

TL:DR, PLEASE INFORM MY DUMB ASS ON THE BEST (2H) WEAPONS TO USE
