Well, PS:T and Diablo are both CRPGs, one being barely and Deus Ex and Doom 3 are both FPS games, one being barely.

I watched about half then got bored. Nothing in there I haven't seen before. Up to the point I watched it was turrets, security cameras, security bots, patches, hack, run, fight. Absolutely nothing original. That was a video aimed at kids who don't realize this has all been done before.
True, but even if it is a complete recycle of the ideas used in System Shock 2, i'm still looking forward to this game. In the end, even the old System Shock is still better then most FPS released this days, so why not?
Its been done in System Shock 2, Deus Ex, Doom 3, Half Life, Half Life 2, FEAR, Prey, and so forth and so on...

I mean, the game is almost a decade old and when you play a game you need to keep in mind the time in which it was made in. Yes, it might be a little too slow in today's standard but back in the day it was just fine.

This forum continues to amaze me with the amount of unfounded bias thrown against any given platform.
I don't have a particular bias against consoles and hand helds, just limited amount of resources. I choose PC because the majority of the game I like to play are on the PC and I wish that to continue. I don't mind Bioware or Obsidian making games on consoles and hand helds, just as long as they don't get in the way of making good games for the PC.
This forums is chockfull of blithering fanboys of top-down hack'n'slash adaptations of pnp to electronic format. Their idea of fun is to replay BG for the 21st time and they keep whining how there's no good games produced anymore, even though they play absolutely nothing else then their blatant fixation. It's damn irritating and their perv bias shows in everything they write.Wait a minute here. I thought I was the only one.
