Sorry, ignore my post, it looks like I made a mistake. I spammed pickpocketing again and played with the personal reputation stats and realized it just takes a lot of actions to move your reputation up or down in status. My fault.

Going to echo the observation that my reputation isn't changing in Defiance Bay, both the city reputation and the personal reputation (benevolent/passionate, etc.) I first noticed this at the end of the "His Old Self" quest and thought it was particular to that, but then I got caught pickpocketing in the Hall of Revealed Mysteries and found I could steal repeatedly without my reputation going down. The message "reputation lowered (slight)" or some such appeared in the message box repeatedly, but on the character sheet the status stayed neutral and I could get caught over and over again without consequence. Should I suppose that my reputation not changing is going to cause problems later?
