    There is more to the thread I linked than just PoE being in your Steam Library. but thers no solution for my problem

    lets say i backed an boxed poe edition on kickstarter the box includes a drm free dvd version of the game and a key for steam or gog since yesterday i can decide what platform i want to use. my question is if i decide to go with steam where i will get updates for an drm free installation (dvd) of the game?
